Wexford Township is a civil township of Wexford County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 798 at the 2000 census. The township is in the northwest corner of the county. Sherman is an unincorporated community on M-37 in the southeast corner of the township. It was named after the city and county of Wexford in Ireland. ==Communities==
